Its a scam!! They seem to have a lot of suspiciously positive reviews, possibly from bots or fake accounts. Before booking anything with them, I strongly recommend checking their reviews on Trustpilot. They charge a €250 deposit per scooter. We rented four scooters, so in our case they are holding €1,000. They promise that the deposit will be refunded, but we still haven’t received our money back. They keep claiming that the refund was transferred a long time ago, yet they refuse to provide any proof of payment. When we call, they don’t answer, and our messages are being completely ignored. Even worse, we were told that we should not leave a negative review, because otherwise they would not return our deposit at all. In other words, they are using our own money to pressure us into staying silent. If you’ve had a similar experience with this company, please contact me. We have started legal proceedings against them and would like to hear from others who may have experienced the same thing.

Don’t rent here! Terrible customer service We rented 3 scooters here 6 weeks ago during our holiday in Ibiza. I had to contact them myself to ask for our deposit back. After a few days, they only returned €500 out of the €750 deposit. Since then, they have completely ignored all of my messages. Terrible service, this is absolutely not how you treat customers. Disgraceful!

Be aware!! We rented a car and returned it on time with no damage and upon return they said the €250 deposit would be processed automatically. After 1 week I messaged and asked for a status update and received a response saying it could take up to 21 days for the refund to arrive at my bank. It’s been 21 days and we still have not received the refund so I messaged again and received the same generic response about refunds taking up to 21 days. Then I called and asked when I would receive my refund and they asked for my name and then hung up on me. When I called them back on their mobile and land line, no one answered. Now I have to make a claim through my credit card to recover the funds.

TLDR: Great scooters and good prices but refunds can take a while (ask for proof of refund if concerned). I rented from a scooter from here for two days while visiting Ibiza and can recommend. Although I don’t speak Spanish and the owner doesn’t speak a lot of English, we made it work using Google Translate. He was patient and helpful in explaining things as it was my first time renting a scooter. The scooter itself worked great for the two days I had it, was cheap to fill up and made exploring a blast. I had no issues with it and loved that he is open quite late so I could return the scooter after a full day. Only issue I had came afterwards through no fault of either of us and that was the refund of my deposit took a long time (~25 business days) to be processed. The owner wasn’t particularly good at responding to missed calls/messages and it wasn’t until very late in our exchanges that I was able to get a copy of the refund document (and it was dated correctly for the day I returned my scooter). So communication is an area he can improve a little but he accepted my feedback on it so hopefully it will be smoother for the next person that encounters the issues. The slow refunds seem to be a somewhat common occurrence for non-Spanish tourists (once again, not the owner’s fault) but if like me you’re a bit concerned about it all, I recommend asking for that proof of refund since it will allay your concerns.

Absolutely shocking experience. I contacted this car rental company hoping to arrange a booking for the summer, and I have honestly never been treated so badly by a business in my life. From the very beginning, the staff were sarcastic, arrogant, and unbelievably rude. Instead of helping, they made me feel mocked and disrespected simply for asking normal questions about the booking process. It was disturbing to see such unprofessional behaviour coming from a company that expects people to trust them with their money and travel plans. If this is how they treat potential customers before a booking is even made, I can’t imagine the nightmare someone would face if there was an issue with the car or payment later on. The whole interaction felt extremely dodgy and left me with zero trust in this business. Please be careful and think twice before booking with them. There are far more professional and trustworthy companies out there.

I can recommend this company. Communication prior to booking was very convenient, and the prices were good. We had a Volkswagen Touareg, a comfortable car for a family with plenty of space for all our suitcases, making it perfect for exploring Ibiza’s beaches. We picked up the car at the pre-arranged spot, right in the airport parking and returned it there as well. Everything went smoothly; thank you

We booked Cooltra more than a month in advance and have been trying to contact them for weeks to reschedule our reservation. Despite multiple phone calls and emails, we received no response until the day before our booking, after we had already escalated the issue through our hotel to help reach them. At that point, we were finally told the reservation could be changed—but that we now needed to provide an International Driving Permit to confirm the booking. This requirement was not made clear at the time of booking. The wording suggests a valid driver’s license OR an international permit, not both, which led to confusion and prevented us from preparing this documentation in advance. Had we been informed a month ago when we first attempted to change the date, we would have had ample time to obtain the necessary permits. Instead, we were left trying to resolve everything last minute while traveling between airports to meet other members of our group. Given the lack of communication and the late disclosure of requirements, we requested a cancellation in good faith. We had made repeated, documented attempts to resolve this early and fairly. The response offered was only a 50% refund, which did not reflect the inconvenience, stress, and lack of communication throughout the process. We will now be disputing the charge through our credit card provider. This experience was especially disappointing due to the lack of responsiveness and clarity for international travelers. We would advise others to carefully confirm all documentation requirements in writing before booking, and be aware that communication may be difficult if changes are needed.

Went on the buggy tour today with my partner, Wasnt sure what I was expecting but OMG! What an AMAZING experience!!! David our tour guide knows all the beautiful spots on the island, We were out for just over 2 and a half hours and visited some breathtaking parts of ibiza! I would HIGHLY recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see the true beauty that ibiza has to offer!! Massive thank you to David who was very knowledgeable of the islands history, and also knew the island like the back of his hand, A true credit to the company. 5 🌟 for sure!! 😎

Took the quads out with Max Robotics during our time in Ibiza and had a brilliant experience. The setup was smooth and the briefing was clear and easy to follow. I’ll start with the negatives. The tour description stated that the buggy tour included drinks and photos, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. We’ve done several buggy tours in different places before, and they usually include complimentary drinks (such as water, soft drinks, or juice) as well as a package of photos from the trip. Since these were advertised, we expected the same here, but neither was provided. Thankfully, our guide was kind enough to take a few photos of us after we asked. Speaking of the guide, I have nothing but positive things to say. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the places we visited. He took his time, answered questions, and never made us feel rushed. He really did an excellent job. Unfortunately, one of the buggies broke down near the end of the tour, leaving our group stranded for about an hour in a remote area away from the main road. Mechanical issues can happen, and I completely understand that. However, what disappointed me was the lack of an emergency plan from the company. Our guide, who was clearly not responsible for the situation, was left trying unsuccessfully to reach his colleagues or supervisors for assistance. I honestly felt sorry for him because he was doing everything he could, yet he had no support from the company. On the positive side, the route itself was absolutely beautiful. The scenery was stunning, and even my girlfriend, who has visited Ibiza ten times, got to discover places she had never seen before. That alone made the experience special. Overall, I would still recommend this tour because the route and our guide were excellent. However, I strongly suggest that the company updates the tour description so it accurately reflects what is actually included, and that they improve their procedures for dealing with unexpected breakdowns. A little better preparation would make a big difference to the overall experience.

Absolutely awful experience. The whole process takes far too long, and to make matters worse, they are not operating on weekends and provide absolutely no clear instructions about where you are supposed to return the mopeds. The shop is completely closed all weekend, yet they fail to explain where the mopeds should be left. There is no dedicated parking area or clearly marked place to return them, so we had no choice but to leave them near the shop. We were then hit with €200 fines EACH for parking there. This is completely unacceptable. If you expect customers to return vehicles when your shop is closed, you need to provide clear instructions and a safe, legal place to leave them. The lack of communication is shocking, and the fact that customers can end up with €200 fines because you haven’t explained the return procedure properly is ridiculous. I would absolutely not recommend this company. Avoid unless you want unnecessary stress, wasted time and potentially a €200 fine.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this scooter rental company. On one day, we were only able to rent the e-bikes for a single day. It took at least half an hour just to complete the “contract,” which is completely excessive for a simple bike rental. On the second day, we wanted to rent a scooter. However, we were refused because we do not ride scooters on a daily basis. That kind of logic is hard to understand — especially since, according to the Google reviews, many people rented a scooter there for the very first time. I have never experienced anything like this at any rental company anywhere in the world. In the end, they simply lost customers, and we still had a lovely day — on foot.

Great place to hire a scooter/moped, the staff was friendly and helpful. Price was reasonable and we booked through the hotel. Only caveat was everything needed to be paid for separately, storage box, helmet, phone holder etc.

We rented six 125cc scooters for six days. The scooters were in very good condition, the rates competitive compared around and decreasing for long periode, the staff at the agency friendly and helpfull, and we were able to return the scooters without any issues even though the agency was closed. No complaints.

Probably the worst renting I ever tried. Two month after I didn’t get my deposit and the process to get the scooter is very uncomfortable, They don’t send the instructions on time, you will probably have to wait on the sun on the middle of the parking because they don’t pickup the phone. On top of that I booked a 2026 X Max I got a 2014 destroyed one, super dirty … see the picture

I rented a scooter and a motorcycle from Jota Café Motorcycles & Scooter Rental at Ibiza Airport, and unfortunately my experience was far from smooth. I returned both vehicles on May 27, but my deposit was not refunded for more than 10 business days. After reading other Google reviews, it seems I’m not the only one dealing with long delays. I had to email the company and almost threaten to open a dispute with my bank before the refund was finally processed. This should have been automatic. Also, instead of simply holding the deposit like most rental companies, they actually charged it to my credit card, which made the delay even more frustrating. The rental process itself wasn’t great either: – I paid for a Honda CB250, but was given a 125cc instead. – No staff were on site to help at pickup. – I was sent three different photos of the motorcycle after being told it wasn’t on site, which made us waste almost an hour searching for it. – Communication was fast and polite before payment, but almost nonexistent after returning the vehicles. Overall, the service did not meet expectations. I did eventually receive my refund, but only after insisting. This shouldn’t happen with a professional rental company.

I’d rate this rental 2/5. The scooter itself was in decent, normal condition, but the pickup process was extremely frustrating and time-consuming. I was sent a photo of my specific scooter and had to search for it among hundreds of identical scooters in a huge parking area. It took me over an hour to finally find it. The return process was quick and easy, which was the only positive part of the experience. However, the company delayed returning my deposit for a very long time. After 10 business days, I was repeatedly assured that the refund was coming soon, but then my messages started being ignored while I was still waiting for my money. I only received the deposit back after opening a dispute with my bank. The rental company later claimed there was an issue with my payment details. I honestly don’t know whether their organization is just very poor or if this was an attempt to keep the money unfairly. In the end, I did receive the refund, but I will definitely not use their services again.

JUST BE AWARE OF. Rent a motorcycle for 4 day from 4 April, the motorcycle itself was good. However, the overall renting experience was really awful. On the first day we rent, we should received the instruction message no matter through Email or WhatsApp, but we got nothing. Be aware that they didn’t have physical stores near the Airport, there was only irrelevant stores on the spot shown on the google map. So we had to search their information and actively call them through WhatsApp to finish all the remaining processes including upload your documents and pay the €300 Deposit. Afterward, the motorcycle was good enough to deal with the whole journey. The returning process was also smooth that took the photos and videos. The staff told us that the deposit would be return in 10 business days, however, I realised that almost a month had passed since then, and I still hadn’t received a refund. They appear to be deliberately not offering refunds. So I had to contact them again and again to notice about this, and they seem to ignore my message until I called them directly (They didn’t even took up my call) then to finally process the deposit refund. I’m not sure it’s their staffs’ behaviour problem or what, but from reviews seem that it suggests they are repeat offenders.

We have booked in advance online for the Aprilia 125, we got the Sym 125 without notice. Slightly disappointed 😞 WhatsApp is compulsory to exchange with rental office. The scooter was not in perfect condition: several damages and scratches… The windscreen of the helmet was broken on one side. The fuel was not full… The pick-up place is on the motorcycle park, out of the airport on the right. No office on the airport. You pay 35€ for airport pickup, but other rental can do it for normal price. Pickup was veeeery long to get code, pay for the guarantee, get the location of the scooter aso. The guarantee was refunded after 21 days, but you have to remind them. Contact was however reactive on WhatsApp
