Excellent service from Suleyman. He took the time to explain all the dishes in detail and shared honest recommendations throughout the evening. Without a doubt one of the best restaurants I have visited in Ibiza and was not expected. From the outside it just looks too casual, but once you enter through those doors and past the bar a magical place emerges, especially at night. Service is great and personalized by the manager, chef or owner and the staff has great timing and are very polite. Menu is a fusion of flavours or mix from many cuisines that do add up and probably have never tasted together. From single plates to the food tour of 7 servings at around 70€ is completely worth it. I will definitely go again and fully recommend this place. Prices are fair for Ibiza and good house wines as well as a collection of them to choose from. Pros, service, parking, food and ambience on the terrace at night. Cons, Location, little far from everywhere on a curvy road, not much views but a lovely lemon tree garden. 5 stars all the way.

Charlie Lyons

We had an absolutely unforgettable lunch at Casa Piedra with a group of Spanish friends, and it was one of the highlights of our time in Ibiza. What makes this place so special is its connection to the land around it. The restaurant incorporates produce grown in its own garden, including lemons, figs, and oranges, alongside beautifully fresh local fish that had been caught that very morning. You can genuinely taste the difference. The setting is magical. Sitting outside in the peaceful countryside, surrounded by nature, creates a sense of calm that is increasingly hard to find. It’s elegant without trying too hard and allows the food and hospitality to take centre stage. We were a table of ten and asked to mix elements of the tasting menu with dishes from the à la carte menu. The team couldn’t have been more accommodating. Nothing felt like a problem, and every request was handled with warmth and enthusiasm. The food itself was exceptional. Course after course arrived with flavours, creativity, and presentation that would not feel out of place in a Michelin-starred restaurant, yet everything remained relaxed, genuine, and completely free of pretension. Perhaps most surprising of all was the value. The quality of the ingredients, the cooking, the setting, and the service would command significantly higher prices elsewhere on the island, yet Casa Piedra remains remarkably fair. Ibiza has no shortage of beautiful restaurants, but very few deliver this combination of authenticity, atmosphere, hospitality, and truly outstanding food. Casa Piedra is a real gem, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

STOPPP! This place, is amazing! I asked the receptionist where I could find good sushi, he put this place in my sat nav, recommended a dish and the rest is history. A brief 13 minute walk through a well lit main area, to a very humble quiet sushi place. The ambience is classy, the place makes you feel rich but my entire meal with a glass of spirit and fresh orange only came to €30 euros. The service was impeccable, nice extremely well mannered, excellent English and they understood my fat accent. 11 out of 10. Wakame is a restaurant that delivers a wonderful dining experience from the moment you step inside. The atmosphere is truly impressive, with beautiful decor that exudes a perfect oriental vibe. Even though I’ve never been to Asia, the ambiance transports you, creating a serene and authentic feel that makes you want to stay longer. The service was also on point, with friendly and attentive staff who were more than happy to answer any questions and provide recommendations. They definitely contributed to the overall positive experience. Now, onto the food – everything we tried was delicious. The dishes were well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and a variety of flavors that really stood out. It’s clear that quality is a priority here. Special mention goes to the cocktails. We sampled four different options, and each one was fantastic – well-crafted and balanced in flavor. However, there was a slight issue with the margarita. While it tasted great, it was served in a standard margarita glass that seemed unusually empty. This small detail didn’t spoil the experience, but it’s something the restaurant could improve. Overall, Wakame is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a great meal, delightful drinks, and a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended!

A hidden gem in Ibiza — absolutely unforgettable! I found Kojima Sushi & Ramen Bar on my last night in Ibiza, which honestly made me sad because I wish I had discovered it earlier. This place was amazing from start to finish — beautiful food, great location, perfect music, and the warmest service. Gabriele and Nicholas, made me feel completely spoilt. They are both owners and chefs, and you can really feel their passion in the food, the atmosphere, and the way they look after people. Gabriele brought such beautiful energy and charm, and Nicholas was equally warm and welcoming — they made the whole experience feel so personal and special. The ramen was incredible, the gyoza was freshly prepared and delicious. The vibe was relaxed and fun, and I even did a tarot reading while I was there, which made the night even more memorable. It was one of those places that just stays with you. If I lived in Ibiza, I would be there every night. Highly recommend this hidden gem. 5 stars all the way! I will absolutely return ✨️🫶🏽

A great place for vegans! 💚 We had such a lovely experience here. The staff were really friendly and helpful, showing us everything on the menu that was either already vegan or could easily be made vegan by omitting the egg. There are lots of sushi choices, as well as a Don Buri and Ramen. We tried the Green Roll and the Curry Veg Don, and both were absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back! ☺️

One of the best sushi I have ever had. Came here three times in one week because the people were so genuine and friendly and the food they served was incredibly fresh and tasty. Ask the sushi chef for his recommendations and daily specials, the crispy rice with tuna was so good. Also, leave room for the banana split (not the classic you expect, but an interpretation by the patisserie chef) – the desert on it’s own is worth going there. If I come back to this part of Ibiza, I will come back here. Thank you so much for this experience!

This is a fantastic restaurant with excellent food prepared and presented by Japanese Chef Reina Nagai. The ambience is sumptuous with intriguing design elements and well selected music creating the perfect vibe. Try the dived scallops carpaccio and there’s also a delicious chicken dish with local vegetables Japanese style. A great selection of Japanese whisky for digestif, I would not visit Ibiza without a dinner at NAGAI! Sultan Al Willsalem of Fassum

Really great range of veggie and vegan options here, I loved the crispy avocado rolls and dragon rolls! Quite pricy but really high quality in every way. The decor is lovely too, very organic flowing walls and great attention to detail. I’d definitely go again if I found myself in Ibiza in future.

To put it simply: I adore Japanese cuisine, and this restaurant is spectacular. It is easily one of the finest dining experiences you will find in Ibiza, nailing everything from the food and decor to the overall ambiance. Celebrating a friend’s birthday last night, we were fortunate to have the owner curate our menu. The latest additions to the menu are exceptional, with every dish delivering beyond expectations. Trusting the staff with your order here guarantees a culinary journey; their attention to detail is unmatched, particularly with the custom dressings that perfectly complement each plate. Memorable highlights included a refreshing fennel and beetroot salad, and a delicate scallop dish with a deeply savory tomato accompaniment. This, alongside the sea bass sushi, was a standout for me. The prawn and vegetable tempura arrived wonderfully light and crisp, followed by a selection of beautifully presented vegan and vegetarian options, including a striking dragon roll. Dessert ice creams provided the perfect sweet finale, topped off with a glass of saké (or three). For those looking for something truly special, they offer a chef’s table experience featuring a bespoke 13-course menu—an absolute must for a great evening out. This was a magnificent night of gastronomy. Do yourself a favor and book a table; you won’t be disappointed. It is the kind of meal that lingers in your mind the next morning, compelling you to share the experience with the world.

Frequently asked questions about sushi bars in Ibiza

What is a sushi bar and what can I expect there?

A sushi bar is a restaurant that specializes in serving sushi, a Japanese dish made with vinegared rice, typically combined with seafood, vegetables, and sometimes tropical fruits. At a sushi bar, you can expect a variety of raw and cooked sushi preparations, often served at a counter where chefs prepare the food in front of you, or at tables.

How healthy is sushi and what are its benefits?

Sushi can be a very healthy food option due to its ingredients like fish, rice, and vegetables. Fish, especially fatty varieties, are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are beneficial for heart health and brain function, and sushi often provides lean protein. While generally healthy, the nutritional profile can vary depending on the specific types of sushi and how they are prepared; for instance, rolls with heavy sauces or fried elements may be less healthy.

How much does sushi typically cost?

The cost of sushi can vary significantly depending on the type of fish, the complexity of the roll, and the establishment. You can find more affordable options like simple maki rolls at casual spots, while more elaborate nigiri or sashimi featuring premium seafood will naturally be more expensive. Expect a range from more budget-friendly choices to higher-end pricing for specialty ingredients and elaborate presentations.

What are the different types of sushi and how can I learn to like it?

Sushi encompasses various forms such as nigiri (fish over rice), maki (rolled sushi with rice and seaweed), sashimi (sliced raw fish), and temaki (hand rolls). If you're new to sushi or looking to develop a taste for it, start with milder flavors and cooked options like California rolls or tempura rolls, and gradually explore raw fish and more adventurous ingredients. Trying different sauces and accompaniments like soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger can also enhance the experience and help you discover what you enjoy most.
