Turbo Rent a Car

Traveling from Canada. Overall I say the experience was good, especially for the value and the fact that motor bike is the way to go when you are on the island for a few days. First of all, process was fairly easy, with a full G license (3+ year and an IDP) from the province of Ontario, you can get a 125cc bike (as of 2026). The guys at the front are all business and might not come across as "good customer service" but they do get the job done for you. When I returned the bike they dropped me off at the airport not much hassle. Only thing is that I couldn’t find a whatsapp number to message for a shuttle for pick up at the airport, so I had to walk 15min. For us using esim and no local number, not having whatsapp to message the staff is an issue. Other rental companies have a whatsapp to communicate. Maybe this can be considered. I know other reviews mentioned issues but our experience was great for the price, and we’ll definitely come back if needed in the future.

Its my 5th year renting with Turbo and everything is always super smooth and according expectations. At the aiport the pick up is usually quick and the check in as well. I already rented motobike4x4, cars and vans. Always good to be with them. Every small problem i had during the past 5 years was always resolved with no real issues. 100% recommended. (5* to the Romenian guy at the count desk at the aiport agency. A proper guy running the place)

Terrible experience. I paid extra for the Ibiza Airport return service after being assured there was a Turbo drop-off point at the airport. When I arrived, there was no Turbo office or return location at all. I spent time searching and almost missed my flight. I had no choice but to leave the car in the airport parking and immediately sent WhatsApp messages, emails, photos and videos. Nobody responded. Despite this being entirely their responsibility, they charged me for the parking, charged me again for the airport return service I had already paid for, and even charged me for fuel, although the car was already on reserve when I collected it. Completely unacceptable customer service and unfair charges. I would never rent from Turbo again.

Excellent service. David and Roberto were very helpful and informative throughout the whole procedure. The scooter we hired for a whole week was in very good condition, and reed very well. A very good way to explore the island. I can definitly recomend Turbo rent a Car for scooter hire.

Honestly, a very disappointing experience from start to finish. We arrived at the rental location after walking for about 20 minutes under the scorching 2 p.m. sun, and nobody had informed us that there was a shuttle service connecting the depot to the airport. Fair enough, perhaps we should have asked, but it would have been helpful to know in advance. After completing the paperwork, the car was handed over to us with the keys already inserted, and the only thing the employee did was take a quick photo of the interior. The vehicle was heavily scratched, somewhat dirty, and certainly not new. However, it seemed to run fine, so we accepted it. What was really disappointing was the complete lack of information. Absolutely nothing was explained to us, not what type of fuel to use, how the car worked, how to operate the air conditioning, or even the basic controls. We were simply given the keys and left to figure everything out ourselves. Once we arrived at our hotel, we discovered an unpleasant surprise: one of the doors could not be opened from the inside. Even worse, the remote key fob did not work at all (see attached photo). The buttons were completely broken. For four days we had to use a hairpin to lock and unlock the vehicle because the remote was unusable and the key would not even lock the car properly through the keyhole. I honestly cannot understand how a rental car can be handed over in such condition. Basic functionality and safety checks should be the minimum standard. To make matters worse, when we returned the car, nobody even looked us in the eye. The staff simply checked that the fuel tank had been filled, said goodbye, and that was it. There was no inspection of the vehicle, no questions about our experience, and no interest whatsoever in the problems we had encountered during the rental. I was genuinely shocked by the lack of professionalism, customer care, and attention to detail throughout the entire experience. Based on our experience, I would absolutely not recommend this company.
